Garden City Dermatology
Ted J. Daly, MD, FAAD, FASDP, went to Jefferson Medical College in
Philadelphia and from there went to Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's
Hospital for Internal Medicine training and then became Board Certified in
Dermatology as well as Dermatopathology at the University of Colorado Health
Scientist Center in Denver. Daly then was the director of Pediatric Dermatology
at Metropolitan Hospital with New York Medical College, and for the past five
years he has been the Director of Pediatric Dermatology at Nassau County
Medical Center. He is also Assistant Professor of Dermatology Pediatrics and
Pathology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has great
interest in dermatology and lectures frequently, including at the American
Academy of Dermatology meetings. He has a special interest in hair loss and
diseases of the hair, and he also frequents the beaches of Long Island on the
sun patrol. He gives out sunscreen and warns people of the dangers of skin
cancer. He has been in private practice at Garden City Dermatology in Garden
City, Long Island for fifteen years, and frequently participates in other
on-line activities including the Alopecia Areata ListServ as well as the
Ectodermal ListServ on the net.
