Matthew Kennedy
is a consultant with the FMI Center for Strategic Leadership and works
with clients to build enduring organizations through establishing a
foundation of strong leadership performance and depth of talent. With
extensive experience assisting clients with building individual leaders,
increasing leadership team effectiveness, and addressing critical
organizational needs, Matt is passionate about the influence Peak
Leadership can have on organizational performance.
Matt focuses also on helping executives develop a bench of
succession-capable talent, increase individual and organizational
capability to think strategically, and set a clear vision for company
success. Matt serves as a facilitator at FMI’s Leadership Institute—a
four-day program in which participants examine their unique leadership
styles and learn how those styles affect others.
Leveraging his experience in leadership with more than 15 years of
service as an officer in the United States Army, Matt works with
individuals and leadership teams to maximize organizational performance.
Matt has served in some of the Army’s best-performing organizations and
used that experience to guide under-performing organizations to
success. With experience leading several companies of up to 250 people
in operations, logistics and human resource management, Matt has a drive
for assisting leaders at every level to find their peak performance.
Matt is a Distinguished Military Graduate holding a Bachelor of Arts
degree in political science from the University of Vermont and a Master
of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, where he was
inducted into the international business honor society Delta Mu Delta.
